Da Ye Qing

Da Ye Qing (广东大叶青) is a yellow tea and often confused with Da Qing Ye, a mediacal plant used in TCM. Da Ye Qing tea produced in Shaoguan, Zhaoqing, Zhanjiang and other counties of Guangdong Province. Tea gardens are located in mountainous and hilly regions, mostly red loam soil, good water permeability, very suitable for tea growing. Guangdong Da Ye Qing tea picks fresh leaves before the Ching Ming Festival; the standard is a bud or a bud and two leaves, leaf after withering, fixing, rolling, boring yellow, dry and five refining processes.
