Jin Xuan and Ruan Zhi leaves

Taiwan Tea Experiment Station (TTES), formerly named "Tea Manufacture Experiment Station", was established in 1903 to develop and promote Taiwanese tea. In 2003 the station changed the name to "Tea Research and Extension Station" (TRES).

At Taiwan Tea Experiment Station where some worldclass tea varetals developed. One of the most successful among the is TTES #12 aka Jin Xuan.
