Baihao Yinzhen (白毫銀針), also known as Silver Needle tea, is a white tea produced in Fujian Province in China and is one of China Famous Teas. Amongst white teas, this is the most expensive variety, as only top buds (leaf shoots) are used to produce the tea. Genuine Silver Needles are made from cultivars of the Da Bai (Large White) tea variety.
