Da Ye Qing

Da Ye Qing (广东大叶青) is a yellow tea and often confused with Da Qing Ye, a mediacal plant used in TCM. Da Ye Qing means translated "big green leaf" and indicates that it's a bif leaf varietal. The tea is mainly produced in Shaoguan, Zhaoqing and Zhanjiang county in Guangdong province. Tea leaves for Da Ye Qing are picked before the Qing Ming festival. Usually are only one bud or alternatively one bud and two leaves picked.
