Honeybush tea is a herbal tea made of a honey bush plant.

Honeybush is related to Rooibos. Typical for honeybush is a flowery, honey-like flavor. Honeybush contains, in contrary to tea made of Camellia sinensis no caffeine and very little tannin. The blooming flowers of the honeybush have a honey-like, sweet smell, which is why the tea is only harvested during flowering.
