Okuhikari (おくひかり) or Oku Hikari is a hybrid of Yabukita and Shizuoka-Cy225, a Sinensis-type cultivar with Chinese origins. Bred in 1964 at the Shizuoka Tea Experiment Station, Okuhikari is predominantly cultivated in mountainous regions today.
