A tea ceremony is a ritualized form of making tea. Tea ceremonies are common in China, Japan, Korea and, far less ritualized, in Great Britain. The Japanese tea ceremony is very sophisticated and although influenced by the Chinese tea ceremony different in many ways. Initially, tea ceremonies where formalized way of making tea but but turned, especially in Japan, to a form of meditation.
